This is our weekly meeting at the Heidelberg Makerspace.

Today we’ll try out some plant pigments extraction and paper chromatography.
We’ll also detect the absorbance spectrum of the extracted pigments on our DIY spectrometer and try to analyse the results on imaging software.

Our current activities include:

– Improving the low-cost pcr design
– Meat-authentication PCR project
– Set up the biohacking space

Come help us to establish a community biology lab where interested people can explore, learn, tinker and prototype with biology.
